Oil was upgraded one day ahead of its monthly
weekly API inventory number due for release.
In other news, the US economy
continues to feel the heat of tightening.
The Fed has removed
$50 billion in its balance sheet,
and oil traders are warning
of further Fed tightening.

Deutsche Bank economist, Tim Callahan
expects the Fed will be trimming its
$4 trillion balance sheet to $3 trillion.
In that would mean even more quantitative
easing.
That's what they're talking about.
Quantitative easing is
the Fed's way of adding money
to the system to
make it expand and contract.
Last month, the Fed added
$75 billion to its balance sheet.
Fed fund futures point
to three rate hikes
this year, possibly as early as March,
and when the Fed finally does raise rates
it's going to have a much more positive
impact on the stock market
than we've seen recently.
So we don't have any worry
about stocks being overvalued.
